Outstanding Advisor of the Year

Purpose: To recognize alumni/faculty advisors who not only have enhanced their individual chapters, but also the Marietta College community through their service. One recipient will be selected for this award.

The 2008 Advisor of the Year, Bob Ferguson (Delta Tau Delta), has been a constant source of wisdom and guidance to his chapter for over thirty years. He has allowed the chapter to work through their conflicts on their own, relying on their own brotherhood. His service extends beyond advising this Marietta chapter, as he is the Division Vice President for the Northern Division of the fraternity. In the Marietta community, this admirable man has been President of the Lions Club and the Marietta Chamber of Commerce.
