Outstanding Alumni Relations Program of the Year

Purpose:  To recognize chapters whose alumni relations program has innovative ideas in the areas of, but not limited to, communication with alumni, building relationships with alumni, and transitioning members to their alumni experience.  One chapter will be chosen from the Greek Community, if organizations meet the eligibility.

The 2008 recipient, Delta Tau Delta,is a chapter who recognizes that alumni relations go beyond Homecoming weekend. By maintaining close contact with their alumni they have flourished through meaningful mentor relations. The chapter has regularly sent out a newsletter which looks in-depth at the chapter’s happenings. Not only has it included chapter news, but also highlights from Marietta’s campus, developing a sense of inclusion among their alumni as they are kept well informed of Marietta happenings.
