Outstanding New Member

Purpose: To recognize outstanding achievements and contributions by sorority and fraternity members during their first year of membership.  One male and one female recipient will be selected from the Greek Community.

The 2008 female recipient, Blakely Dye (Sigma Kappa) has a passion for her chapter which sets her apart from other members. She has set a high standard for new members through her service, positive attitude, and leadership ideals.

The 2008 male recipient, Patrick Hahe (Lambda Chi Alpha), jumped head first into his chapter. Despite being an Associate Member, he is on his chapter’s executive board and is also an officer for IFC. He has set an example for the other members of his chapter, and for the Greek community.
