Outstanding Philanthropy Program

Purpose:  To recognize chapters whose philanthropy programs are well planned and executed, meaning that they are open and advertised to the College community and well attended by the Greek and College community. One chapter will be chosen from the Greek Community, if organizations meet the eligibility.

The 2008 recipient, Alpha Xi Delta,have not limited their fundraising efforts to their national philanthropy, but extended their service to benefit other charities. Their chapter participation for each philanthropy event has continued to grow and they even attained Relay for Life’s Biggest Participation Team award. By making philanthropy an immense part of their organization, this chapter has served as an example of hard work, dedication, and large hearts.
